I am so SO excited to share the images in today’s post with you!
Earlier this spring, I promised myself that I would try something I had never done for Blessed Events: to design and coordinate a wedding concept photo shoot with all of the elements provided as a result of vendor collaboration. The inspiration for this shoot came from several different sources. I really wanted to create and capture something that would speak to my Texas brides, and incorporate some gorgeous royal purples and sunshine yellows – colors that are perfect anytime in Texas from spring all the way through fall!
With rustic and true-to-Texas accents of cowboy hats and boots, wildflowers, and a perfect ranch setting for our Homegrown Love concept to come to life in, I knew that this concept would turn out beautifully.
However, the bedrock of the foundation for this shoot was – as it is for weddings – the strong and professional set of vendors who worked so hard with me to see the concept become reality. The Homegrown Love concept shoot TRULY wouldn’t have been such a success without these professionals!
Marius of Marius Lardizabal Photography perfectly captured the pure simplicity and understated elegance that I wanted to be translated through his images:

~The peaceful and sweeping East Texas landscape of Shoemaker Hill Ranch
~DELICOUS home-style reception cuisine and wedding cake by Simply Delicious Desserts
~Gorgeous gown designed by Cora’s Creations
~Vintage rentals provided by Mitchell’s Attic
~Our wonderful models, Pelin Erdowdu and James Nance
So, over labor day weekend, we all road-tripped up to Jacksonville, TX to do the shoot! After an intense but really fun twelve hours of shooting, we had our mission accomplished. Check out our results below

And one more sunset shot, just cause I can’t leave it out!

Again, SO SO SOOOO many thanks to my team of vendors!
Marius, Malinda, Laura, Cora, Pelin, and James: Y’all are the best!
